Post number one.

Two weeks ago, I had some funny pains in my side.
At first they came and went, then they just stayed.
Maya ordered me to the doctor.
The doctor ran some tests and eventually I was admitted to the ER.
Some surgeons decided my appendix needed to come out.
I spent two days in the hospital.  Everything went relatively smoothly.

But as it turns out, there was a big cancerous tumor in my appendix.

  1. First, I am sorry you are ill. Next, you are really funny. I've never met you, but after reading Maya's post with tears in my eyes, the brevity of yours made me laugh. I hope that's OK; I am praying for your healing and wholeness, and peace and joy for your sweetest of little families.
